Robust offers a real green alternative to wood for both outdoor and inside use. Over 90% of the material used in its construction is recycled material. It does not contain any harmful chemicals which might leach out into the environment. It does not need treating every other year with more chemically based solutions, saving money, time and the environment. At the end of its life it can be recycled to be used in making even more environmentally friendly products.
It can be worked just like wood using either hand tools or normal woodworking machinery. Will not split, splinter, rot, warp and is impervious to insect attack. Its not so likely to be covered in lichen which attaches itself to timber making the surface slippery and dangerous.
It is comparable with hardwood timber in both appearance and durability with the added major advantage of never having to be treated and having the advantage of saving the rainforest from further deforestation and the environmental knock on this has. Remember our product is made from recycled packaging material.
