Robust Fencing offers a real alternative to treated wood and all the inherent problems associated with it. When used in outdoor applications, traditional treated wood requires costly maintenance and regular replacement because it is constantly being battered by the forces of nature. While chemically treated timber typically lasts 4-10 years, Robust Fencing stands up to the forces of nature with a warranted life of 25 years.
Remember over 90% of the material used in its construction is recycled material. It does not contain any harmful chemicals which might leach out into the environment. It does not need treating every other year with more chemically based solutions, saving money, time and the environment. At the end of its life it can be recycled to be used in making even more environmentally friendly products.
At the moment we can supply picket fencing, post and rail, privacy fencing and play area surrounds in varying sizes. The range is constantly being developed and new designs will be add in the future. All fencing is available in our standard 6 colours (see colour chart) plus any other colour to special order at an additional cost.
Robust Fencing can be worked with normal hand or woodworking machinery and is erected in the same way as a wooden fence. But that's where the comparison ends, Robust Fencing will not shrink, warp, rot, split or need constant maintenance like wood. You don't need to fit gravel boards, which can look unsightly, as our material will not rot when in contact with the ground. We can supply plain boarding if a retaining barrier is required due to the topography of the site.
